How to get the Islamics to stop rioting

Daniel Pipes proposes a way to bring to an end the recurrent Muslim riots over various recurrent insults to Islam:

What would happen if publishers and managers of major media reached a consensus, “Enough of this intimidation, we will publish the most famous Danish Muhammad cartoon every day until the Islamists tire out and no longer riot”? What would happen if instances of Koran burning happened recurrently? …

I predict … that a Muhammad cartoon published each day, or Koranic desecrations on a quasi-regular basis, will make it harder for Islamists to mobilize Muslim mobs. Were that the case, Westerners could once again treat Islam as they do other religions—freely, to criticize without fear. That would demonstrate to Islamists that Westerners will not capitulate, that they reject Islamic law, that they are ready to stand up for their values.

It’s a good idea. But I can’t help but ask: what are the Western values Pipes wants Westerners to defend? Oh, yes: complete freedom and complete tolerance for everyone on earth, including complete freedom and tolerance for Muslims, allowing Muslims to continue entering the West en masse and progressively gain more power over it. Pipes and his fellow “conservatives” support a policy that will result in Islam taking over the West peacefully and tolerantly rather than violently and threateningly, leaving the First Amendment in place during the takeover.

Shortly after the 9/11 attack, Pipes wrote in Commentary:

To me, the current wave of militant Islamic violence against the United States, however dangerous, is ultimately less consequential than the non-violent effort to transform it through immigration, natural reproduction, and conversion.

He touched the truth that one time, and never again. Since early 2002, he has never once indicated that Islam is gaining power in the West via Muslim immigration or that Muslim immigration should be reduced, let alone stopped, let alone reversed.
