Debating the Islam question with Republicans

Intrepid traditionalist Paul Cella takes a stand against Islam (not terrorism, not Wahhabism, not radical Islam, not militant Islam, not Islamism, but Islam), and stirs up quite a debate. I am struck by the hostility expressed toward Cella’s classic pro-Western position at a site called “RedState.org.” So many of the commenters are little George W. Bush clones, decrying the “bigotry” of Western patriotism and unctuously expressing their happiness that so many Moslems are in America.
