The presidential election in New York City

What do you think Obama’s margin over Romney was in New York City? Well, the city is very liberal, so maybe 65 percent to 35 percent? Try again. 70 to 30? Try again. 75 to 25? Try again. 80 to 20? Try again.

Obama beat Romney by 81 to 18 percent in New York City. In 91 of the city’s 5,286 election districts, Obama won 100 percent of the vote. The only demographic that voted for Romney were orthodox Jews.

Politico has a further breakdown of the vote by boroughs and neighborhoods.
