Hanson’s dream of Mexican immigration—and the reality

Ed H. writes a blistering challenge to Victor Hanson on the latter’s expectation that Hispanics in California will soon assimilate and become conservatives. All that’s needed to bring about his marvelous denouement, says Hanson, is that illegal immigration be stopped.

By the way, if you want a clue as to why Hanson keeps pouring forth an unending stream of long-winded columns about contemporary politics, virtually all of them worthless and serving no other purpose than to destroy the possibility of any anti-liberal thinking in his readers, take a look at his photographs here and here. In his writings he pretends to be deeply concerned about what the Democrats are doing to America, but his bottom line, as conveyed by his facial expression, is that he is in love with himself, and that everything is for the best in this best of all possible (liberal) worlds.
