Gallup shows biggest lead for Romney yet

Gallup’s latest seven-day rolling average of likely voters has Romney leading Obama by a startling six points. As of October 7 they were tied, 48 to 48; then for several days Romney had a lead of two points, 49 to 47; then for the seven-day period ending October 15, Romney’s lead went up to four points, 50 to 46; and now in the seven-day period ending October 16 his lead has gone up to six points, 51 to 45.

A reader tells me the Gallup poll is “crappy” and should be ignored.
