Pizza as the anti-Christ

While I have agreed all along with the main thrust of Laura Wood’s anti-pizza campaign, I have felt that her view of pizza as the ultimate and ubiquitous embodiment of the de-spiritualization of modern life was, well, just a tad overstated. No more. Having seen the below headline at Drudge today, I’m a believer:

COMING SOON: Pizza vending machines…

I see that Laura has already commented on the story, and that it has made her resort to the same book of the Bible to which I alluded in this entry’s title. She writes:

THE MODERN apocalypse leads with inexorable logic to pizza vending machines.
