WND article on the black intifada

Finally, a prominent conservative web magazine, WorldNetDaily (which has never been particularly critical of the liberal/conservative orthodoxy on race), has published a long article detailing many of the recent black-on-white attacks in this country. The piece, by Chelsea Schilling, begins:

In a wave of black-on-white crime since the February Trayvon Martin slaying, reports are emerging of dozens of brutal assaults by black mobs and assailants against white victims—and some attackers are citing the revenge for the Martin slaying as reason for their aggression.

Schilling catalogues many anti-white racial crimes, including some I had not previously read about.

However, let us not fall into the trap of believing that savage mob attacks by blacks on whites only began after the Trayvon Martin death and as supposed vengeance for Martin’s death. Black flash mobs and wildings and murders of whites have been going on steadily for at least the last three years. I do not know for a fact that there have been more such attacks in the last three years than in earlier years, but, based on mainstream news reports, there certainly have been more of them during the Obama presidency than earlier. The shooting of Trayvon Martin is no more the cause of black-on-white racial violence than the latest “insult” to Muslims is the cause of the latest Muslim murders of non-Muslims. It is only the most recent pretext for such violence.

Also, Schilling’s article has photos of the two Virginian-Pilot reporters, David Forster and Marjon Rostami, who were attacked by the black mob in Norfolk last month. Michelle Washington, editorial writer at the same paper, referred to Rostami as white, but from her photo she is a light-skinned black woman.

I think the name is Persian, or possibly Punjabi. She looks Southwest Asian to me.

Mark Eugenikos writes:

You said “Michelle Washington, editorial writer at the same paper, referred to Rostami as white, but from her photo she is a light-skinned black woman.”

I disagree: I searched for the photo of Marjon Rostami as soon as the news came out, since I thought the name was a bit unusual. From her looks and the name, I’d say she’s Persian or Kurdish. And since Persians are part of the Indo-European group, it would make sense for Washington to call Marjon Rostami white.
