In re Rush Limbaugh: A man’s gotta know his limitations

A reader and I point out that given Rush Limbaugh’s immaturity, as displayed by his hysterical public touting of his fourth marriage a couple of years ago, he’s a man spectacularly ill-equipped to deal with the kinds of moral and social issues that he attempted, so clumsily and disastrously, to raise with regard to Sandra Fluke. Therefore, in opposing the birth control mandate, Limbaugh should stay with what he knows best, the importance of freedom, and strictly avoid questions having to do with the role of sexual morality in society, about which he has no ability to speak intelligently.

In short, Limbaugh should heed the advice of Clint Eastwood as Detective Harry Callahan in Magnum Force (a dreary movie with one good line).
