A spontaneous celebration of the King holiday

A fifty year old woman was with her children and grandchildren at a fast food restaurant in Dearborn, Michigan called Chuck E. Cheese’s when the following unfolded:

Family members tell FOX 2 the woman was celebrating her grandson’s seventh birthday Sunday afternoon when she asked patrons at a nearby table to clean up their language. “She said, ‘please don’t use that language with children,’” said the victim’s daughter. “They told her to ‘shut the f—- up and turn around.’”

That’s when the daughter says a man jumped over tables and started swinging at people. “He punched her in the face and dragged her by her hair,” she added.

While the story, from myfoxdetroit.com, of course says nothing about race, we see in the local TV news segment that the family of the victim is white, while, it goes without saying, the assailant was black. It seems he was particularly riled by having a white woman ask him to watch his language during the run-up to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, just as he was working really hard on the content of his character.
