Female pilots, cont.

VFR’s cup is running over today. Two superb readers’ comments, both received this afternoon, have just been added to the now four-day old thread on female pilots. The first logically explains why woman pilots have reportedly had (up to now) no more accidents than men pilots (rigorous standards select only the very best women); the second vividly recounts a personal experience of flying through icy conditions in a plane with two female pilots, and how the reader felt when the ” ‘captain’ announced our take-off delay in her soft, elvish, girlish voice.”
