Campaign without end, amen.
Carol Iannone writing at The Corner reflects on our ever lengthening presidential campaigns. Candidates used to declare their candidacies a mere month or two before the first presidential primary in New Hampshire. Now they declare as much as a year before New Hampshire and 20 months before the general election. Did Romney ever stop running after he conceded to McCain the last time around? Not really. His instant lapdog endorsement of McCain in 2008 was the first step of his 2012 race.
