Two interesting articles on Weiner scandal

From today’s New York Times, a piece on Andrew Breitbart that provides the chronology of Breitbart’s involvement with the Weiner affair. The article mentions that only Fox showed Breitbart’s extraordinary impromptu news conference yesterday.

Also from the Times, an interesting piece on Weiner’s marriage. His wife Huma Abedin was born in Michigan and raised in Saudi Arabia. Weiner “courted” his future wife’s family, in order to get their blessing. But if they’re serious enough Muslims that their blessing was needed on their daughter’s marriage, why would they ok her marriage to a non-Muslim? Also, Huma is described as a practicing Muslim. But what kind of practicing Muslim marries a non-Muslim?
