Boehner’s deep incisive analysis of Obama’s speech

Remember how before Obama’s Libya speech John Boehner declared in mighty tones that Obama needed, uh, to provide some “clarity” about Libya?

Now guess what mighty Boehner said after Obama’s speech:

Speaker of the House John Boehner called Obama’s speech “helpful,” but criticized the president for failing “to provide Americans much clarity to our involvement in Libya.” Boehner continued: “Nine days into this military intervention, Americans still have no answer to the fundamental question: what does success in Libya look like?”

That’s it. The president has led us into an insane war without an ounce of legitimate U.S. interests at stake and without an ounce of legal justification and without any congressional authorization, and all Boehner can say is that the effort lacks clarity.

I do not enjoy despising Boehner. He did a great job of leading the Republicans against Obamacare. But it’s not enough to be strong against Obama’s planned statist takeover of the United States, and then turn into a brainless pushover when the same president leads us into a mad illegal war waged for the apparent benefit of our enemies.
