Is carrying a Koran the answer?

Anecdotal evidence from Pajamas Media that conspicuously carrying a Koran with you in the airport will spare you close examination.

However, if we do this, are we not, in almost classical form, surrendering to the Islamic program? Let us remember the way Islam works. When Muslims take over a country, they do not force everyone to become a Muslim. Rather they subject everyone to Islamic law, which is extremely discriminatory against non-Muslims. Over time, the inconvenience, misery, and humiliation associated with being a non-Muslim, and the greater ease and privileges associated with being a Muslim, draw people to convert to Islam. So if we, even as a a mere cynical tactic, start carrying Koran into airports to avoid naked body scans and gropes, are we not in effect surrerending to Islam?
