The Enquirer’s story

If anyone was thinking of buying this week’s National Enquirer with Molly Hagerty’s further interview and evidence relating to Al Gore’s alleged attack on her, I would advise you to save the $3.69. The only significant new information in the article is the corroborating statement by Hagerty’s friend Greg Boatman that Hagerty called him at 4 a.m. the night of the incident and told him about it—and Boatman’s statement was posted at the Corner and copied by me here last night.

The “DNA evidence” that the Enquirer promises is not there. Hagerty had a $35 forensic test done on the stain on her clothing, but the results were inconclusive. A more sophisticated DNA test is needed.
