The world from Hamid Karzai’s standpoint

In an interesting blog article on Afghanistan, Sultan Knish (Daniel Greenfield) presents the following argument: Karzai knows that Obama is planning to sell him out to make a deal with Taliban. So Karzai is seeking to make his own deal with the Taliban first. This is what explains his recent “going rogue” behavior—not being able to trust the U.S., he is looking out for himself. We betray the people we protect, and sell out to our enemies, so it pays off to be our enemy.
