The New Tosca

Laura Wood at The Thinking Housewife reviews a recent Metropolitan Opera production (made into a movie) of Puccini’s Tosca. It’s barebones, anti-Christian, blasphemous, crudely sexualized, quasi-pornographic, and with the love scene taking place against a backdrop of a giant painting of Mary Magdalene with her breast bared.
