Is Ruth Bader Ginsburg saving free enterprise?

Dennis Mangan writes at Mangan’s Miscellany:

Supreme Court Halts Chrysler Sale!

Yes, it’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg who just threw a monkey wrench into Obama’s plan to run roughshod over bondholders and dispose of the company the way he wanted, in the biggest power grab since FDR tried to stack the Supreme Court. Will she come through in the end?

Your guess is as good as mine. But if she, or they, do not, it’s hard to see why anyone would ever want to buy a corporate bond in this country again. The rule of law would be trashed.

Go Ruth!

(Never thought I’d say that.)

I would hope that a wise Jewish woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a mulatto male who hasn’t lived that life.
