You point out that while the Express calls for “radical government action” against extremist Muslims, it “gives no hint as to what this radical government action ought to be.”
There is only one practical way to deal with this nonsense and that is with immediate, harsh, across-the-board action—critics of such action to be ignored; their lawsuits to be ignored, their asinine street protests to be ignored. Below are some rules that any Western country experiencing the street-wrath of Islam might consider implementing, should it wish to preserve its heritage and its foundational traditions:
1) Any Muslim acting in a manner such as described in the original news story shall be immediately deported—no hearing, no court drama—period, end of story. Leftists and other cowards will screech, “Police State!” Let them.
2) Any Muslim, or for that matter, any non-British citizen who makes public statements voicing desire to replace Britain’s democratic government with a sharia compliant one gets immediately and unceremoniously hustled onto a flight back to the “Old Country”—along with his entire, extended family.
3) Any British Muslim citizen or non-citizen requesting any form of religious accommodation, whether it be for the installation of a footbath in a public place or the installment of a “prayer room” in a public school, will have their request met with a resounding, permanent “No.”
4) All mosques shall be monitored for anti-British, anti-West proselytizing. If such activity is found, the mosque it occurs in will be immediately shut and then razed to the ground. Same goes for any Muslim school.
5) Any Muslim cleric making any (and I mean any) anti-British, anti-West statements shall be immediately fined and deported, along with his entire extended family.
6) All Muslim illegal immigrants shall be rounded up, heavily fined and then sent back to their wonderful sharia-compliant countries.
7) All immigration from countries where Islam is the dominant religion to be halted immediately. No tourist visas, work-study visas, temporary visas—nothing.
8) Any British citizen or non-citizen having more than one wife shall be denied access to state funds or state assistance of any kind.
Anything less than majority implementation of my suggestions means that Britain perishes under the jackboot of Islam—unless hordes of indigenous Brits soon rise up, gather up a nice supply of baseball bats, knives, tire irons, tasers, pepper spray and the like, and start taking matters into their own hands every time Muslim swine like the ones who insulted the British soldiers rear their hate-filled heads.
PS: Do my suggestions seem a bit extreme and/or “intolerant”? Consider this then: At the moment I live in an Arab-Muslim country. Were I to walk out of my apartment right now and begin yelling “I hate Islam,” I would certainly be beaten to a pulp and likely killed. Were I to criticize publicly the country’s political leader, the Amir, I would almost certainly be picked up by “security forces,” interrogated, jailed and then deported—all within hours of my utterance.
When it comes to “tolerating” Muslims, what’s good for the goose is most excellent for the gander. Unless—as it seems in Britain’s case—you want to die.
