Are we all Geert Wilders now?

If Geert Wilders could be barred from Britain, then every Islam critic in Europe and America can be barred from Britain. In fact, any Islam-critical writer and blogger in the U.S. that you can think of has made stronger statements about Islam than has Wilders, whose comments have been relatively mild and restrained. It therefore can be assumed that if the British Home Office becomes familiar with any one of us and our writings, they will put our names on a list of people to be refused entry to the Dead Island. I doubt they are aware of us at present, e.g., I doubt that if Robert Spencer flew to Britain next week, he would be kept out. But, given the principle established by the exclusion of Wilders, we have to assume that if the British authorities know about us, we will also be excluded from Britain.

Here is the larger message. Islam is now protected and favored in the West, while those trying to defend the West from Islamic tyranny are the outcasts. As Islam continues to gain power in the West, Western patriots will be increasingly told that they don’t belong in the West.

This is why, along with stopping and reversing Muslim immigration, the top priority of the anti-jihad movement must be the repeal of the anti-hate-speech laws that are now on the books of every Western country except for the U.S.

Yes. As I understand it this is where Mr. Wilders, his courage aside, fails to take up the cause of the anti-jihad movement. Rather, he says that the anti-hate-speech laws in his country must be applied consistently, and that the Koran must be banned accordingly.

LA replies:

Agreed. I think his approach is mistaken. He’s still looking at the Islam problem in the manner of a liberal, using liberal tools against the Islam threat. But Islam doesn’t just threaten our rights, it threatens our very existence, everything we are. That must be our approach.

Larry G. writes:

I don’t know if we are all Geert Wilders now, but I do know that your characterization of Britain as dead has been proven beyond a doubt. They have surrendered to Islam, and short of that revolution you mentioned, I don’t see them ever coming back. It only took a three percent Muslim minority to destroy a once-great nation. That is the lesson we all need to heed.

LA replies:

You are absolutely right. When people say, “Why are you so worried about Islam, Muslims don’t threaten us, they are only one percent of the U.S. population,” our reply should be, “Muslims are only three percent of Britain, and Britain has already surrendered to them.”
