Has Olmert, the ultimate deluded weakling, become a man of wisdom and steel?

Paul at Powerline writes:

Noah Pollak finds that we are witnessing the “transformation” of Olmert into “wisdom and steel.” At a minimum, he’s been transformed into a competent war leader against whom Livni and Barak suffer by comparison.

If such a transformation is possible, then anything is possible, and we should never give up hope—for Israel, for America, for the West.
