Cannon fired

Great news. Chris Cannon, the virulently pro-open borders Utah Congressman, has been creamed in the primary election by a pro-enforcement challenger. Of course, Cannon’s ouster will only confirm in the minds of Cannon, John McCain, and George W. Bush what a rotten, nativist, racist country this is and why the borders must be opened even more so as to break down white resistance and make America a modern country at last.

One of the casualties of all this Obama insanity is what’s going on in the congressional races. The presidential elections have always overshadowed them but in this election we as traditionalists should do everything we can to spotlight them. People like me who’s time is occupied by work don’t have time to parse out what’s going to happen to the balance of power in Congress, so I hope you continue to touch on it throughout the campaign. It might be that the best we can hope for is a stalemated congress, with enough committed immigration reformers to hold the line until 2010. That’s why this is crucial, because I believe momentum is on our side.

First, great title for the piece ;-)

There are some days when I am proud to be a native Utahn, and some when I am not; today is a proud day.

Not only was that putrid bag of waste given the boot, he was shown the door by a VERY wide margin. As you state, the likes of McCain will learn nothing from this, but it is a victory nonetheless. Now if we can just get rid of Oral Hatchet…
