September 12th

Each year, September 11 with its sadness and pain is followed by September 12, the anniversary of the Battle of Vienna in 1683, when European Christian armies (you know, those jackbooted ethnic killers that Ralph Peters is always telling us about) defeated the Turks who had been besieging Vienna and saved Europe from Islam—saved it, that is, until OUR generation gave it away again. Here and here are two previous VFR entries on this important day in European history.

Let us work for the day when September 12, 1683 is not just remembered, but replicated.
