Canadian television hosted jihadist calling for “total extermination” of the Jews

According to Canadian columnist Ted Byfield writing at WorldNetDaily, Canada’s state-supported Vision TV featured weekly appearances of Israr Ahmad, a Pakistani who advised Canadian Muslims

they had a religious duty to either fight for jihad on the battlefield, or at least finance it….

[Reporters] found that in his popular preaching and writing in Pakistan he observes that Jews consistently suffer the “floggings” of God—“the Holocaust of the 20th century being a case in point.”

The conflict between Jews and Muslims would ultimately end, he predicts, “in the total extermination of the former, according to Divine law.”

… [America’s pro-Jewish power] will end when Islam takes over the rule of the world, and the Jews are “exterminated.” Justifying this fate, says one of his books, is the fact Jews may be compared with “parasites.” They are “revengeful” and “malicious” with a streak of the “diabolical” and “a deeply ingrained tendency to conspire.”

Reached by a reporter, Mr. Ahmad vigorously denied that he hated Jews or had anti-Semitic views. It was God who hates them, he explained. He rather liked many Jews.

Exactly so. When Ahmad describes Jews as diabolical anti-humans, he’s not expressing some personal bigotry or hatred against Jews, he’s merely being a good Muslim, repeating what is said in the holy books of Islam.
