The United States of America—promoter of global jihad

We now approach the culmination of America’s unlawful, arrogant, hideous, ruinous, multicultural-imperialist intervention in Serbia in 1999, a war (see my capsule summary of it) that was launched by President Clinton and strongly supported by most Republicans and all the neoconservatives. The U.S. is currently pushing for the immediate establishment of a fully independent, sovereign Kosovo under complete ethnic Albanian-Muslim control. Not only do the Bush administration and the Congress support this outrageous outcome, they’re proud of supporting it. Here, as reported by Julia Gorin at Huffington Post, is what Rep. Tom Lantos said at a hearing this week of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, of which he is the chairman:

Just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led government[s] in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for the creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe. This should be noted by both responsible leaders of Islamic governments, such as Indonesia, and also for jihadists of all color and hue. The United States’ principles are universal, and in this instance, the United States stands foursquare for the creation of an overwhelmingly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe.

Steve A. comments:

I don’t think there is any clearer evidence that our leaders in Congress are completely insane and are completely devoted to destroying the United States, Europe, and the rest of the West.

Indeed. And if the U.S. government with bi-partisan support launched a totally unjustified war on a European Christian country for the purpose, as it now appears, of forming a Muslim republic on the former territory of that country, does not my seemingly over-the-top suggestion of the other week start to seem more plausible: that the ultimate role of the U.S. in Europe today is not just as the cheerleader of the evil EU and its agenda of subduing and Islamizing Europe, but as the enforcer of this project?
