Not by a long shot. That photograph actually shows a wide range of failed third world cultures represented among the street youth of London. In a photo that accurately depicted the demographic proportion of young L.A., about 18 of those 22 faces would have to be Mestizo Mexicans. It would closely resemble a frieze in an ancient Aztec temple, only minus the human sacrifice scenes. Approximately 85% from only one nation, one culture, one language, one mentality—Mexico.

By comparison, London looks like a melting pot.

I think what Brandon was referring to (at least the way the photo hit me, which was why I posted it) was both the brown, non-white population, and the sub-proletarian dress and look of people today. In that regard that photo does look like a photo of New York or Los Angeles. Diversity plus the pop culture turns all Western cities into the same city. The title I initially gave the entry was: “The crushing universal sameness of diversity.”

Concerning the photo of the “diverse” Londoners. I am surprised that neither you nor any other readers have yet remarked on the reason for the gathering: the sign being held up (“Kizzle RIP”) refers to a young man of African descent, Kdojo Yenja (who referred to himself as “Kizzle Sweet-thug” on his personal webpage). How did this poor unfortunate meet his end? In a brutal stabbing at the hands of a “group of boys and girls in school uniforms aged about 14,” apparently over Yenja’s Staffordshire bull terrier. From the article:

One woman said: “I saw eight or nine black boys in a very agitated state. One of them was waving a massive knife around. These boys were very hyped up. I recognised one of them as being a well-known local gang member. These kids were all gravitating around the boy with the carving knife. They were shouting so loudly that they set a car alarm off. There was so much hatred in the way they were attacking him, you could tell it was more serious … these boys wanted Kodjo’s dog. They had been threatening him and bullying him for weeks. That is what it was about.”

Rivers of blood, indeed.

The photo you display does admittedly overrepresent the proportion of non-white teenagers in London, which is to be expected since the boy who was killed was himself black. However, it illustrates both the massive growth of the immigrant population and its spread. One typically thinks of areas of south London, like Brixton or Peckham, as the places with a large black population. This is still the case, but there appears to be also growth in the black population both in neighbouring areas, like Wandsworth and Lewisham, and other places like Shepherd’s Bush, mentioned in the article.

Re London and other European cities. I recall that as recently as 20 years ago always hearing lectures from European snobs and liberal American elitists about how dangerous American cities were as compared to the “clean, safe” cities of western Europe. We no longer hear that anymore. Gee, I wonder why?

The picture of London you posted is unfortunately quite accurate. It is a mixture of rootless, cosmopolitan and unassimilable people who are living in a state of increasing racial tension. Gangs are growing and fighting for control of the drugs trade. Yesterday as I was walking along Kensington High St, in the most expensive borough in the country, black thugs were walking around, shouting abuse and semi fighting. As I crossed the street I was afraid to look at them. That is the first time I have been afraid to look people in the eye in this area, where up until a couple of years ago, blacks were rarely seen.

Passing the book shop, I was shocked to see their window display of “recommended books for reading” was a collection of Arabic and Persian books covering everything from fiction to cookery. The large chain store chemist Boots, was playing Arabic music and a local butcher “Millers of Kensington” has been taken over by a Moslem butcher (Arabic speaking). The organic food restaurant is owned and run by Egyptian Moslems and the dry cleaners is owned and run by Syrian Moslems. three Lebanese restaurants have opened within two years. Most of the cafes and coffee shops are owned and run by Moslems. Small grocers stores owned by Moslems have recently opened and a money changer/pawnbroker (why does Kensington need this?). With three local supermarkets who needs these small stores? Moslems are gaining more control over commerce here.

I don’t believe that Moslems from such places as Egypt and Syria would have the money to buy all these businesses and I think they must be financed by others (perhaps Saudis) and then used as fronts for money laundering. Dangerous!

An email received below shows another “benefit” of liberal-inspired diversity. Trafficking of African children is now occupying the Metropolitan Police Force’s time. Is it any wonder that they cannot deal with local crime?
