Feminism reveals its true direction

Paraphrasing the emperor Manuel Paleologos’s now-infamous remark on Muhammad, I said the other day that feminism has brought nothing good into the world. Jeff in England protested, saying that I am wearing blinders and am being unfair, and our discussion continues. In the middle of this discussion, another reader has brought to our attention an article about the two most incredible feminist innovations that anyone has ever heard of. Perhaps the story about the new German unisex public lavoraties which Canadian columnist Ted Byfield read about in a German newspaper is a hoax, but the second story, involving a purchase of long underwear, is something that Byfield experienced first hand.

Also, in the same thread, Laura W. makes a fundamental argument in favor of unequal pay for men and women that I had neglected to make.
