FrontPage calls D’Souza an appeaser

We know how the conservative establishment always looks after its own and avoids serious criticism of establishment conservatives. Here is a big exception: FrontPage Magazine’s review of Dinesh D’Souza’s book, in which D’Souza argues that Islamic hostility toward the West has nothing to do with Islamic teachings; that the Western cultural left is the sole cause of Muslims’ anti-Western hatred; and that Western conservatives must therefore cease all serious criticism of Islam and ally themselves with traditional Muslims against the Western left. The review, by David Forsmark, is entitled: “The Appeaser at Home.” At the end of the article Forsmark writes:

Dinesh D’Souza has made arguments that, as he states proudly in the third paragraph of the book, “no one has made before.” If you are the only person in the world who believes something, there are only two choices: you are a visionary or a fool.

Congratulations to FrontPage’s editors for seeing through the fool and appeaser D’Souza, despite the fact that his all-out attack on the left must have appealed deeply to them.
