Tough standards for British drivers, third-world standards for immigrant drivers

If you’re a British citizen (what they used to call a British subject), your chance of passing a driver’s test is only 43 percent—it’s one of the hardest tests in the world. But newly arrived immigrants and asylum seekers with driver’s licenses from countries like Somalia are allowed to drive freely in Britain for a year before having to take a driver’s test. The result is as you can imagine.

Unreal country.
