A dwarf planet is still a planet

The International Astronomical Union has re-designated Pluto as a “dwarf planet.” As far as this traditionalist website concerned, Pluto is still a planet. However, I’m glad the scientists did not, as had been threatened, widen the definitional standards for planets and so add a whole bunch of new planets.
