FrontPage debate on screening Muslim immigrants

There is a symposium today at FrontPage Magazine on whether and how Muslims who do not believe in our system of government should be exluded from the United States. Andrew McCarthy, one of the symposiasts, seeks to introduce what I would call a traditionalist element into the debate by arguing that there is a cultural America as well as a merely legal America, and that this cultural America has the right to exclude prospective immigrants based on their incompatibility with our culture and government.
