Jewish humor (or perhaps Jewish gallows humor?)

Gil Troy writes in The Canadian Jewish News:

[Andrew] Bostom’s 759-page volume, The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims (Prometheus Books, 2005), could be called Everything Westerners Need to Know about Jihad – But are Afraid to Ask.

I added the parenthetical comment in the title after Andy Bostom wrote back to me: “Only somewhat in jest it seems, as most Jews truly are afraid to ask….”
