More “quiet” on the Western front

This is what the government of Belgium considers “quiet” in its cities: cars, buses, and dustbins in central Brussels are set afire by Muslim rioters while the police chase them; in Liege, the major city of Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium, nine vehicles are set afire; in another Wallonian city a kindergarten was set afire; and it goes on and on. As Paul Belien puts it at the Brussels Journal, “The state is dead, but we are not allowed to know.”

Meanwhile, according to Pave France, an openly anti-French website, Chirac has attained a new height of hilarity or disgrace: he has called on the parents of the rioting youths to exercise their parental responsibilities and rein their children in. Chirac himself has no will to enforce the law and protect the public safety, so he begs the Muslim parents of gangsta jihadists to do it for him. These French politicians make American leftist peacenik Democrats look like giants in the earth.

If France has come this low, if this is what is seen by the French people as acceptable conduct by their president in response to organized nation-wide arson attacks going on for over two weeks, they are going to have to endure much worse before they finally discover inside themselves a new basis of thought and action, if they ever do. For the present, the French nation continues to say through its leaders, “Cowardice and appeasement are us…. Come, Muslims, kill us, rape us.”
