The British—going, going …

A reader writes from England:

I was at a party last night and met a good cross section of bankers.

The only thing I heard about the attacks was that they feared what this might do to “community relations.” And there were usual comments about the fear that Islam would get “blamed” for what is happening. And then, it was business as usual—escapist talk of holidays, travel, money, TV sitcoms and celebrities etc.

The British won’t fight. That seems clear to me now. By a combination of steady ingress and some violence, the Muslims will succeed in carving out greater and greater chunks of the country in the years to come.
