Civil rights, white guilt, and group entitlements

A couple of weeks ago I posted an article, “How the 1964 Civil Rights Act made racial group entitlements inevitable,” in which I make an argument about the civil rights movement and its effect on white America that to my knowledge has never been made before. However, there was such a rush of postings at VFR at that time that I think many readers may have missed the article. Since it has now also been published in slightly shorter form in Citizens Informer (not available online, but a free copy can be ordered here by clicking on “request a free newspaper” in the upper right corner), this might be a good time to recommend the article again.
