Why VFR talks so much about the Church

Readers who are primarily concerned about the National Question may wonder at my almost exclusive focus on matters related to the Catholic Church over the last week and a half.

VFR’s main theme is the suicide of the West, understanding it and looking for ways to reverse it. Modern, liberal Christianity, as epitomized by Vatican II and the recently ended pontificate of John Paul II, is central to that suicide. The horrible reality facing us is that the Catholic Church, once the matrix of Western civilization, is now leading the way to its destruction. I will therefore have much more to say about how modern Christianity, by reversing traditional Christian understandings, even as it keeps the name Christian and the loyalty of faithful but uncomprehending Christians, has become an enemy of the West.
