More on my nickname for Bush

I asked a respected traditionalist writer and friend of this website what he thought about a reader’s criticism of my use of “Boilerplate” for Bush. He said: “Well, I like the appellation, and I think it is appropriate, but I take his point. I would say just be cautious about overuse.” To which I replied: “Yeah, I think that’s it. Not to give it up, but to use it less often. I had been using it much more often lately because he had just delivered his second inaugural boilerplate … I mean his second inaugural address.”
