Intel bill is NOT passed yet

I’ve been calling Congresional offices about the intelligence bill and just had a conversation with a staff member in Rep. Duncan Hunter’s office. He explained that Hunter as chairman of Armed Services has no say over the immigration parts of the bill, that’s Rep. Sensenbrenner’s jurisdicton as chairman of Judiciary. The fact that Hunter has now accepted compromise language on the military intelligence provisions does not change Sensenbrenner’s opposition regarding the immigration part. He said the bill is still not scheduled for a vote, and that he doesn’t see how the Speaker could put it up for a vote considering Sensenbrenner’s continuing opposition.

If this information is correct, the cause is not lost yet.
