For conservatives, the Robert Redford question

I have a question for every conservative who, driven by a rational fear of the ruin that would be wrought on the country by a Kerry presidency, is urgently supporting the re-election of Bush, this “conservative” president who piece by piece has been systematically dismantling whatever is left of conservatism. Let’s assume that the expected, salvific event happens in November, with your man Bush safely reinstalled in the White House, and with the Democratic dragon that has been troubling your dreams put to sleep for another four years.

Now what do you do?
