Novak sanguine on Iraq

Despite all appearances to the contrary, ur-neocon Michael Novak (who, by the way, all you Kevin MacDonald acolytes out there, is not a Jew) thinks the terror insurgency in Iraq is on its last legs. If we can just get through the U.S. election in November, he says, and then the Iraqi election in January, the insurgency will be beat. From Novak’s mouth to God’s ears, I say. But, as I’ve also said, if that blessed event occurs and the insurgency dies out, it will have happened as much by good fortune as by anything our president is articulating or visibly doing.
