Who is Marcello Ballve?

Marcello Ballve’s Pacific News Service story on the connections between immigration reform and guarding against terrorism quotes or paraphrases four supporters of amnesty for illegal aliens, refers to a pro-immigration study out of the OECD, while only quoting one critic of immigration. But this is actually one of the most unbiased newservice articles about the immigration debate I’ve read! No references to “anti-immigrant groups” or even “anti-immigration groups.” Instead, Ballve writes about “groups that support restrictions on immigration into the United States.” Sure he gives the supporters of amnesty the last word, but not until after he indicates that ethnic pandering is behind the push for amnesty on Capitol Hill. Someone better tell Ballve that this is not the way polite society conducts the immigration debate.
