On The Tyranny of Liberalism

Ed H. writes:

I have been reading James Kalb’s book, The Tyranny of Liberalism. It Is the most incisive, powerful critique of liberalism and its modes of near invisible control and manipulation, hence it is the most powerful critique of our society, and our world. It is a book of the highest intellectual caliber that gets to the core intellectual assumptions of liberalism, the ones liberals are barely aware they are making. Kalb shows why the right never arrives at any real understanding of the enemy, and decade after decade its efforts seem only to make left-liberal totalitarianism more inevitable, and impregnable. But it is not a futile book about the hopelessness of our situation. Kalb also reveals the levers by which force can be applied to the liberal structure and send it toppling. Read it and win every argument with any liberal, if that’s your idea of a good time. or read it and escape the intellectual fog that you may have been wandering in your whole life. But everyone must read it.
