We have four daughters, the first-born are twins. When I pushed the twins in their stroller, people used to say, “Glad it’s you and not me!” And I would always concur. One time I got into an argument with a very militant pro-abortionist at the newspaper where I worked, who thought I was reckless for bringing more children into the world. I asked her which of them I should drown. I am tired of biting my tongue. We would have had six children, had two of them not died before they were born.
