The ideology which rules over us, and which we do not criticize

Yesterday’s entry, “Obama injects himself into his tribute to Neil Armstrong,” turned into a pot pourri of provocative topics. Among other things it returns to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden’s remarkable announcement that NASA’s foremost mission is to make Muslims around the world feel that Muslim contributions to science have been equal to the West’s. Bolden first said this in an interview with Al Jazeera in 2010, and more recently in an interview with Dinesh D’Souza in the latter’s movie 2016: Obama’s America. Be sure to see my comment in which I explain (a) the ideology that makes NASA’s insane-sounding new mission logical and inevitable, (b) the racial and cultural factors which drive that ideology, and (c) the absence of any meaningful conservative criticism of this ideology.
