Feminism boiled down

Hanna Rosin has an article in the Wall Street Journal trumpeting the victory of feminism. Mark Richardson sums it up thus:

Should a woman really give up on love and marriage and motherhood just so feminists like Hanna Rosin can brag about women doing better than men in their 20s?

If you’re thinking that feminism couldn’t possible be as empty, stupid, and destructive as Richardson suggests, think again. And let us add that the same is true of every other leftist movement and project, from Obamacare to homosexual marriage to racial egalitarianism to the materialist denial of moral truth. These projects only survive and seem so invincible because their proponents are never subjected to rational critical questions. The moment they are, as at the Supreme Court hearings on Obamacare this week, they are bewildered and fall silent.
