Has the uber neocon given up on Muslim democracy?

Is Charles Krauthammer saying that we must continue with the nation-building in Afghanistan no matter what, or is he saying that we should give up on the nation-building, but keep our forces there to fight al Qaeda and the Taliban? The discussion between me and Sage McLaughlin continues.
