In CPAC speech, Romney makes case for himself as a conservative

He does sound like someone who has the ability to govern the country while cutting (not just reducing the rate of growth of) government spending, and he pledges to repeal Obamacare. I say, very reluctantly, isn’t he the best bet the Republicans have? Do they have anyone else who has a reasonable chance of defeating Obama? Remember, if Obama is re-elected, Obamacare gets institutionalized, and we all come irreversibly under the hideous power of a nightmarishly extended federal government. We will, like the British and the rest of Europe, cease to be a free people in any real sense.

Does anyone have a better candidate in mind?
