Thank you again

I had wanted to write to readers thanking them for their responses to my personal announcement last month, but it hasn’t been possible. There are too many notes to respond to, and they are filled with so many wonderful things. So I want to say this now: Thank you for your concern, your good wishes, your prayers, your generous and joy-giving expressions of what my work has meant to you, and your hopes that I and it will continue for a long time to come.

Based on the most recent once-every-eight-weeks CT scan last week, I continue—in the same almost-miracle or perhaps full miracle as before—to be free of visible disease. The treatment continues, along with the weakening effects it has on me, fairly severely limiting my physical activities. But, happily for me, and I hope for others, I have, much of the time, plenty of energy for blogging.
