Rare discussion of race at Luciannce.com

Ed West wrote a non-article at the Telegraph, “Why is there no looting in Japan?”, in which he asked, “Why do some cultures react to disaster by reverting to everyone for himself, but others—especially the Japanese—display altruism even in adversity?” and then he didn’t bother trying to answer his own question. The question was his last sentence. But the piece was then posted at Lucianne.com, and the second commenter wrote:

No black culture

And it went on from there. A lot of commenters say that it’s liberalism and “entitlement culture” that lead to black looting. But the underlying subject of the discussion is still race.

Meanwhile, Paul at SBPDL approaches the subject a little more frankly, and also posts this photograph which tells a thousand words:

Blackwater was needed after Katrina to make
sure emergency workers would be safe
