The Ballad of Sayyid Qutub

A commenter posted this at Lucianne.com the other day, in response to the story about Obama accepting the Muslim Brotherhood in the Egyptian government:

I dreamed I saw Sayyid Qutb last night,
alive as you and me.
Says I “But Sayyid, you’re decades dead.”
“I never died” said he,
“I never died” said he.

“The windbag cutthroat killed you,” I said,
“Nasser hanged you” says I.
“Takes more than rope to kill a man,”
Says Sayyid, “I didn’t die.”
Says Sayyid, “I didn’t die.”

The Muslim Brotherhood remains the organization of Sayyid Qutb, the philosopher of Islamic terror.
